Our client is looking for a senior Business Systems Analyst for along term remote contract to lead and coordinate the migration to the new ECM solution. The BSA will collaborate with third-party vendors, internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and the new ECM vendor to develop and execute a comprehensive migration plan.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • ECM Migration Experience: Proven experience in migrating from a current ECM system to a new ECM system, preferably from an on-premises solution to a cloud-based solution.
  • Business Analysis: Strong skills in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  • Technical Expertise: Exposure to or experience with solution architecture, configuration, administration, and integration, including both on-premises and cloud solutions.
  • Project Management: Experience in light project management tasks, including project planning, deliverable tracking, status updates, and scheduling.
  • Testing: Proficiency in test plan and test case development and execution, as well as User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
  • Support Models: Experience in defining post-go-live support models.
  • Tools: Familiarity with JIRA and SCRUM methodologies.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Post-secondary education in Business, IT, Computer Science, or Computer/Software Engineering from a recognized academic institution.
  • Industry Experience: 5-10+ years of experience delivering business applications in the supply chain, pharmaceutical, biologics, or similar industries.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with ECM solutions or other enterprise-level software, such as OpenText products (Documentum or Content Suite), and integrating cloud solutions at the enterprise level.
  • Platform Experience: Knowledge of multiple device platforms (Windows, Apple, iOS, Android) utilized in enterprise solutions.
  • Integration Experience: Experience integrating ECM or other enterprise solutions with systems like SAP, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and custom web applications.
  • Workflow Development: Ability to develop standalone workflows involving an ECM or other enterprise solutions.
  • Supportability and Sustainability: Ensuring products are supportable and sustainable.
  • Environment and Release Management: Experience in environment and release management.
  • Enhancement: Ability to extend/enhance ECM or other enterprise products to maximize productivity and improve customer experience.
  • Testing Tools: Experience with Micro Focus ALM (formerly HP ALM) is an asset.
  • User Experience: Experience in user experience and customer service management.
