Role: VP-Sales
We’re seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales to drive revenue growth and cultivate relationships with HNW and UHNW clients, focusing on offering Pre-IPO products and facilitating client referrals into our trading fund.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to promote Beyond Alpha Ventures' Pre-IPO and trading fund products, expanding the client base through proactive outreach and structured lead-generation efforts.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify, connect, and establish lasting relationships with HNW/UHNW individuals, family offices, and institutional investors, guiding them through investment opportunities with Beyond Alpha Ventures.
- Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of Beyond Alpha's Pre-IPO products, syndication processes, and unique trading fund structure to communicate the value proposition to prospective clients effectively.
- Market Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings, ensuring Beyond Alpha Ventures remains at the forefront of the private markets and investment landscape.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Beyond Alpha Ventures executive team and the investment committee to shape sales strategies, support due diligence, and ensure optimal client experience.
- Client Referrals to Trading Fund: Proactively identify clients who would benefit from Beyond Alpha’s trading fund, facilitating introductions and educating clients on the fund’s advantages within a hedge fund/family office framework.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years of sales experience, ideally in a hedge fund, private equity, investment banking, or wealth management setting, with a proven track record in raising capital or syndicating investment products.
- Investor Network: Established network of HNW, UHNW, and family office contacts who actively invest in alternative assets, with the capability to expand this network further.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of Pre-IPO investments, private placements, and equity syndication, along with familiarity with trading fund structures and hedge fund products.
- Sales Acumen: Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment strategies and deliver tailored solutions to sophisticated investors.
- Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of FINRA regulations and general compliance standards applicable to private investments and capital raising.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications (Series 7, 63, or 82) are a plus.
- Sales, Sales Operations, and Sales Management skills
- Account Management and Business Development experience
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience in the financial industry is a plus
