  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.
  6. Select Sites can use Javascript.

Title: Product Designer

Location: Fully Remote – PST time zone

Length: Up to 18 month contract (initial contract goes through June 2025)

Pay Rate: $45-50/hr on W2

Description:

This team supports a new product called Microsoft Places which is aims to help hybrid work planning and space utilization. We're looking for a Product Designer to help augment a few work areas across Microsoft Places. Candidates should have excellent UX/UI skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in communication and task management is a must and ideally someone who has at least 2-3 years of experience in tech and/or agency.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of applied experience in product design, with 1-2 years in tech and/or agency
  • Proficiency in Figma.
  • Strong understanding of systems and libraries, particularly within large tech companies.
  • Demonstrated history of working within structured roles and delivering quick turnarounds.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and tweak existing systems based on customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment with customer needs.
  • Apply feedback quickly and efficiently to improve product features.
  • Utilize Figma for design tasks and prototyping.
  • Work within established frameworks and systems, particularly those common in large tech ecosystems.
