Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in all clinical procedures, ensure optimal patient care, and maintain a clean and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including exams, fillings, crowns, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Manage inventory and restock supplies as necessary
- Adhere to infection control and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from an accredited program
- State-required licenses or certifications (if applicable)
