Specific experience for the PDM role:

• Supply chain, preferably pre-delivery to the distribution centre but DC experience would be valuable as well.
• Using or implementing supply chain management systems supporting Global Costing, Quality, Vendor/Supplier Management, Responsible Supply Chain, Product Sustainability, Product Traceability, Product Testing, Product Inspections, and Chemical Management.
• Data Visualization platforms such as PowerBI, Tableau a plus
• Logistics experience, Apparel, Footwear, and/or Accessories

JOB MANDATE

• The Product Manager, Fulfilment Systems will deliver tangible growth products to our company in every stage of our product life cycle, through the relentless pursuit of great software experiences while considering operating advantage and positive community impact.
• Our systems are primarily packaged software but require a high degree of configuration and/or customization to meet business partner s needs, and therefore require collaboration in the full ideation and development of our capabilities in the Inbound Logistics, Distribution Operations, Engineering, Trade, and Outbound Logistics space.
• Work with product fulfilment systems counterparts, project leaders, and operational leaders to understand upcoming capabilities and help to scope out the customer experience. Collaborate with dependent product teams to ensure that the end-to-end implementation journey is thorough and thoughtful. Support in writing robust requirements, prioritize the backlog, and work closely with the engineering teams to deliver and test quality software.

INPUTS

• Business capabilities to support company vision from key cross-functional partners: Inbound Logistics, Distribution Operations, Engineering, Trade, Outbound Logistics, Retail Operations, Digital and MP&A
• High level road map with prioritization of Fulfilment systems work within respective product teams from Inbound Logistics, Distribution Operations, Engineering, Trade, and Outbound Logistics that scales the Fulfilment network to meet service, cost, and throughput objectives managed by the Manager Product Fulfilment Systems
• Partnership with the Fulfilment Technology team to ensure accurate execution and availability of all technology tools to support our Fulfilment teams (i.e. - GTN, WMS, LMS, Envision, Anaplan, TMS)

OUTPUTS

• Documents the product needs, user needs, pain points, user impact, and desired outcomes for features clearly and succinctly to different audiences and cross-functional partners to deliver solutions that enable the Fulfilment roadmap
• Communicates dependencies with other strategic initiative, uses the product roadmap to analyse the scope of work across the fulfilment teams and supports with impact analysis
• Delivers clearly documented requirements for each initiative on the product roadmap, supports prioritization of new intake requests and supports with setting the prioritization of the backlog for technology sprint planning based on the product roadmap

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports in maintaining and prioritizing a backlog of work items for multiple systems and capabilities to support the Fulfilment Product strategy through working with the Product team to plan sprints (short term view) and managing backlog (long term view)
• Supports to document, drive user stories and acceptance criteria to completion across functions based on MVP alignment
• Partners with the Technology scrum teams to support in the delivery of defined business capabilities and value within the project scope
• Partners with the Product Analyst(s) to support in the delivery of defined business capabilities and value within the project scope
• Influence and supports aligning on a defined minimum viable product (MVP) by setting priority, delivery schedule, and influencing/managing expectations
• Develops specialized knowledge of industry trends and standards to introduce the continual process, tool, and methodology improvements
• Works closely with Product Fulfilment Systems peers, ensuring requirements are documented consistently, technology prioritization aligns with the product roadmap, and timelines are being communicated to Global Fulfilment peers

SUPPORT ACTIVITIES

• Coordinates and prioritizes work for Scrum teams based on the fulfilment systems roadmap
• Provides input from experience with complex scope to support business transformation
• Advises on capabilities through analysing emerging business trends and determining gaps in current product to enhance user and guest experience
• Provides status reports and Steering Committee updates for the product roadmap of the fulfilment systems
