We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our Human Resources department. As an HR Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance with HR policies and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, benefits enrollment, and performance management documents
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome packets, conducting orientations, and ensuring completion of necessary paperwork
  • Provide administrative support for benefits administration, including open enrollment, benefits fairs, and employee communications
  • Assist with payroll processes, including data entry, auditing, and reconciliation
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Support the development and implementation of HR programs, including employee recognition, training, and development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office supplies

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in an HR administrative role or related field
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
