Title: Sr. Compliance Analyst
Rate: $42 - $45/hr.
Location: Tampa, FL 33610
Duration: 3 Months (Temp to Permanent)
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for coordinating and completing all government, regulatory, and compliance documents across all business units within an organization. The position requires a strong understanding of risk management, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, particularly in the financial services industry. The individual will support the monitoring and testing program, manage audit roles, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and complete government, regulatory, and compliance documentation for all business units within the organization.
- Support the monitoring and testing program, including Global Financial Crimes (GFC) and Corporate Investment Bank operations (Fixed Income, Equity Trading, etc.).
- Conduct audits focused on compliance and operational risks, ensuring alignment with industry standards and organizational goals.
- Design and execute compliance testing procedures, including walkthroughs and script creation.
- Attend meetings and liaise with stakeholders to present findings and recommendations.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, ensuring all strategies align with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
- Document processes, findings, and results for audit and compliance purposes.
- Plan audit stages and finalize the process by creating announcement memos for business updates.
Required Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of experience or equivalent expertise in risk management, assessment, and control evaluations, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and evolving compliance landscapes.
- Proven experience in financial institution audits, compliance testing, and risk control environments.
- Testing or audit experience is 100% required.
- Ability to design scripts for testing and develop walkthroughs.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an audit environment with control experience.
- Strong financial background and ability to present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey complex information.
