We are seeking highly skilled Design Technology Coordinator to join our studios of designers, architects, and planning professionals. We're looking to hire experienced Design Technology Coordinator with a passion for innovative design and a keen eye for detail who will play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural direction and ensure the successful delivery of complex architectural solutions.
What You'll Do
This position will play a crucial role in the Design Technology team, supporting the implementation of design technology strategies, providing expert guidance to project teams, and ensuring the efficient use of design technology tools and workflows. The Design Technology Coordinator will play a key role in driving efficiency, optimizing workflows, and elevating design outcomes across the firm. This individual will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of BIM for architectural projects, ensuring accurate and efficient modeling, clash detection, and coordination with other disciplines.
Please include a portfolio demonstrating your previous BIM/Revit modeling work and any notable projects you have contributed to. The portfolio should highlight your technical proficiency and understanding of BIM workflows

What You Bring
- Collaborate with the Design Technology team and project teams to assist in implementing
- Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows
- Support teams in developing BIM Execution Plans and starting the initial Revit model.
- Contribute to the development and customization of Families, Block Libraries, and Details.
- Stay informed of industry trends and advancements in design technology, conducting research and providing informed opinions on software implementations to the Director of Design Technology and IT Director.
- Provide technical support to project teams for the effective use of design technology/BIM tools and help strategize approaches to complex design challenges.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the design technology team, encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing, and creative problem-solving.
- Diagnose and resolve technical software issues.
- Support the delivery of training sessions on design technology tools and processes.
- Assist in creating training materials, including guides and tutorials, to support the firm's use of design technology/BIM tools.
- 1-2 years of experience in the AEC industry.
- Highschool Diploma or GED required,
- Autodesk certification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of design technology concepts and workflows.
- Strong understanding of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, etc.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Grasshopper, or Dynamo is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to contribute to training materials and communicate with team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and assist in cross-functional projects.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools in the design industry.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
