The Brand Director is responsible for leading the strategic vision, marketing, and product management initiatives for a diverse portfolio of beverage brands, including both in-house and licensed brands. This role is instrumental in shaping brand equity, driving innovation, and overseeing all brand marketing efforts, including digital and social media strategy. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, the Brand Director will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure brand consistency, growth, and market leadership. - Directly manage several in-house brands while providing oversight for all company brands, both licensed and in-house.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand messaging and ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Oversee corporate branding and identity for Sunny Sky Products, ensuring alignment across all communication channels, including the corporate website and social media.
- Drive branded innovation pipeline and product development strategy, working closely with R&D to launch and evaluate new beverage products and concepts.
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels and champion the brand experience.
- Craft a compelling narrative that resonates with consumers and set the strategic direction for the brand.
- Align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
- Spearhead marketing campaigns, sales presentations, brochures, point-of-sale materials, and digital assets to drive brand awareness and revenue growth.
- Manage and oversee content development for all social media channels, ensuring a cohesive brand voice and impactful consumer engagement.
- Direct the creation of compelling sales tools, training materials, and marketing collateral that strengthen brand positioning for both licensed and house brands.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive data to optimize brand strategy and decision-making.
- Effectively manage third-party vendors, creative agencies, and marketing partners to enhance brand presence and execution.
- Manage relationships with external partners and vendors, ensuring strategic alignment and collaboration.
- Represent Sunny Sky Products at industry trade shows and events, fostering key relationships and identifying new brand opportunities.
- Ensure that all branding and marketing activities are executed within the overall department budget.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while ensuring marketing initiatives support business objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the Food & Beverage industry required.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of leadership experience in brand management, marketing, or related functions.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing and executing brand strategies and marketing campaigns.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership, cross-functional team management, and collaboration skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and marketing automation software such as Hootsuite, PIM Core, and CRM Salesforce.
- Analytical Skills: Strong strategic thinking abilities with a results-driven mindset.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel to trade shows and industry events as needed (approximately 35%).
