The Investor Relations Associate will play a vital role in managing all investor-related activities and supporting the Firm’s fundraising and marketing efforts.
The successful candidate will facilitate communication between the Firm and domestic investors, prospects, and consultants. This individual will respond to inquiries about investment strategies and fund performance. The position involves active client engagement and collaborating with various internal departments.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with existing and potential investors to communicate the Firm’s investment strategies, market views, and performance.
- Assist throughout the sales process, from identifying and generating new leads to interacting with clients, consultants, and prospects.
- Prepare and follow up on client meetings, generate new opportunities, and attend industry conferences.
- Design and implement processes to enhance the sales workflow.
- Track client, consultant, and prospect information.
- Maintain spreadsheets to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Ensure timely and accurate responses to investor inquiries and create and distribute materials.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Conduct ongoing research on industry trends, competitors, and capital markets to provide regular updates and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree + 3-4 years of experience in Investor Relations within the asset management industry.
- Series 7 and 63 registrations with the SEC is preferred but not required
