Job Summary
Under the direction of the Quality Director the Quality Specialist will oversee and enhance the company’s quality processes, focusing on maintaining the Quality Management System, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities include value stream mapping, developing quality documentation, monitoring non-conformance reports, and collaborating with IT on process improvements.

Job Duties
- Conduct Value Stream/Processes Mapping Initiatives.
- Documented Information Building: Able to interview, collect, summarize, standardize, and control information from different sources to deliver protocols, policies, and procedures among other documents.
- Quality Management System Maintenance : Documents and Records Control, Quality Audits Execution, Performance and Data Management, CAPAS report, Non-Conforming Product Control, Risk Management Support, Operational Technical Support (Calibrations Programs, Suppliers Control, Traceability Systems, etc.).
- Participate as internal auditor for the TQMS.
- Collects and monitor in timely basis TQMS Data and their respective KPIs.
- Monitor Non-Conforming Product/ Services including NCP/S reports preparation for the area assigned.
- Operational Support: Lead or share responsibility with Division Leaders, Managers and Supervisors to comply the TQMS Guidelines applicable to their areas.
- Collaboration with IT Department in IT Tools Development by providing protocols and processes information.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Basic Science, Industrial Engineering or business
- 5 years of experience working in quality
- Value Stream Mapping Exercises.
- At least 5 years of experience in Quality Management Systems Maintenance.
- Demonstrated Continuous Improvements Efforts and Projects experience.
- Experience preparing and offering training related to quality.
- Solid experience working with Compliance Programs and high regulated environments.
- Experience working in Environmental Companies and/or Metal-mechanical industries is a plus.
- Six Sigma Knowledge/ Certification is a plus.
- Lean Knowledge/ Certification is a plus.
- Digital Transformation Experience is a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
