Why we want to know you:

  • PhD in Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of industry experience, with a strong focus on rubber compounding (plastics experience is a plus).
  • Proven track record in evaluating, selecting, and recommending materials and suppliers for new product development or reformulation.
  • Experience leading successful commercialization of new compounds or formulations.
  • Deep understanding of polymer structure-property relationships and material processing techniques
  • Expertise in DOE/Six Sigma methodologies for formulation development and troubleshooting

Your environment:

  • Minimal travel required. Work will be performed primarily within an active laboratory with some time in an open office environment.
