ASM (Attack Surface Management) SME - Manhattan, NYC (Onsite)

Seeking a highly skilled Attack Surface Management (ASM) Subject Matter Expert for a 12+ month contract in Manhattan, NYC. Local consultants preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage Tenable ASM (or similar platforms) to identify and manage attack surfaces.
• Implement TLS Hardening, OpenSSL, and ACT observatory best practices.
• Conduct manual testing and Open Port Alert Processing (OPA).
• Utilize tools such as Censys ASM, Tenable ASM, ACDS, Panorays, Bitsight, SecurityScorecard, and Immuniweb Discovery.
• Demonstrate expertise in QSEN and Defensive Headers.
• Design automation solutions to minimize manual assessments.
• Contribute to the design of next-generation TLS Analytics QSEN Data Sheets (replacing SSL Labs Analytics).
• Assist in developing the ASM OPA Playbook.
• Redesign ASM Processing QSEN Data Sheets.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Tenable ASM (or similar ASM platforms).
• Deep understanding of TLS Hardening, OpenSSL, and ACT observatory.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing and OPA.
• Familiarity with the listed ASM tools.
• Strong knowledge of QSEN and Defensive Headers.
• Ability to design automation solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
