IT Support Technician

CDW is seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to provide both hands-on and remote technical support to our employees. This role is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving a variety of technical issues, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network connectivity across our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including break/fix support.
  • Support and maintain printers, scanners, copiers, plotters, and other peripherals.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, wireless, and remote access VPN.
  • Administer and support Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams and Outlook.
  • Utilize the MS ticketing system to track and manage support requests efficiently.
  • Assist users with 3D applications such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Bentley software.
  • Document technical solutions, best practices, and troubleshooting steps to enhance support efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams to escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2+ years of IT support experience in a help desk or desktop support role.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10 & 11.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN).
  • Experience supporting 3D applications such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Bentley software is a plus.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Team player with a proactive approach to IT support.
