The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Behavioral Operations Specialist to join our Behavioral Operations Team. As a Behavioral Operations Specialist at Cerebral, you will manage the onboarding and day-to-day operations of a group of Therapists, establishing an environment where Therapists meet all expectations to enable Cerebral to attain our mission of democratizing access to high-quality mental health care for all. The Behavioral Operations Specialist will work with the clinical leadership team to onboard, train new hires, implement new processes, ensure compliance with policies and procedures and manage individual performance.

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Behavioral Operations Specialist to join our Behavioral Operations Team. As a Behavioral Operations Specialist at Cerebral, you will manage the onboarding and day-to-day operations of a group of Therapists, establishing an environment where Therapists meet all expectations to enable Cerebral to attain our mission of democratizing access to high-quality mental health care for all. The Behavioral Operations Specialist will work with the clinical leadership team to onboard, train new hires, implement new processes, ensure compliance with policies and procedures and manage individual performance.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years healthcare operations management experience
- Preferred: Independently licensed or license eligible (e.g. LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) with an MA in a clinical domain (e.g. MSW, MFT)
- Staff management preferred, specifically experience with 1099 independent contractor workforce
- Experience managing the onboarding, training, and ongoing development of direct reports
- Excellent communication skills including clear written communication. Ability to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams (recruiting, HR, IT, etc.)
- Root cause oriented, you are eager to understand issues, problem-solve and implement solutions
- Strong emotional intelligence, ability to adapt leadership style to individual needs of team members, maintaining high morale across diverse teams
- Experience with data analysis and developing data-driven recommendations to drive operational strategy and decisions
- Detail-oriented multitasker, you are able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
- Experience working in a fast-paced or startup environment
- Proficiency in Google Suite required
- Experience with Airtable, JIRA, and Looker preferred
- Preferred: MBA, MHA or similar
- Onboard, train and support day-to-day operations of the Therapy and Care Counselor teams
- Ensure compliance with Therapy team policies and procedures
- Support day-to-day Therapy questions related to processes and expectations
- Address operational issues as they arise, and collaborate with other members of the Clinical Operations team to problem solve as needed
- Monitor KPIs and address deficiencies
- Responsible for key process and outcomes metrics of the Therapy team across the clinical delivery domain
- Review and analyze data, diagnose areas of opportunity, develop and implement improvement plans
