Location: 100% Remote (must live in MA, NH, ME, RI, CT, or FL
Job Description:
They have a ton of vulnerabilities identified, but a huge and growing backlog of tickets to address the issues
- They need additional resources to focus on addressing these vulnerability issues current team just doesn t have the bandwidth to get to everything
- They want someone who has enough Infrastructure experience to understand the vulnerabilities, fix them, but also know what changes will happen downstream within their infrastructure when they implement these changes
- Strong experience working with Servers and Work Stations, Active Directory, Systems Configuration
- Strong Infrastructure experience from a Systems Engineer / Systems Administration background with a heavy focus on Security, Patching, etc.
- Strong experience working closely with teams in Information Assurance, Technical Operations, and Infrastructure teams, focusing on vulnerability remediation
- Must be able to work independently, but also have GREAT communication skills and TACT to be able to approach the right people within the organization be able to communicate scheduling, decide when Servers need to be taken offline, etc.
- Current Vulnerability Platform is Tenable, but moving to Tenable Cloud (also known as Tenable 1 VM) this switch will allow them to focus on rating their vulnerabilities and provide them with more insight into the most critical issues; which may also give them a TON more actionable items to resolve which is why they need these 2 resources ASAP!
- They also utilize ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) which would be highly preferred
- Someone that has both Tenable and ServiceNow VR is obviously a home run, but if they just have ServiceNow, that is OK; Also, if they have done a lot of this work utilizing other tools that can still be OK as long as they can pick this up quickly with their tools willing to train a little bit, but not currently willing to switch to a different tool
