Marketing Content Specialist

The ideal candidate will also manage marketing operations, ensuring seamless execution of campaigns, tracking performance, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Strategy
- Write engaging, conversion-driven content, to increase audience engagement and lead generation, including for:
- Product releases (landing pages, email campaigns, product sheets, brochures, social media, case studies, and more),
- Client and consumer educational campaigns,
- Brand-building campaigns,
- B2C content for multiple clients.
Campaign & Project Management
- Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns, ensuring timely completion,
- Maintain an updated marketing calendar,
- Schedule, & track interdepartmental campaign timelines and deliverables,
- Coordinate with external vendors, including video production teams,
- Ensure on-time product launches with all necessary marketing and sales collateral.
SEO & Digital Performance Optimization
- Optimize content for SEO to enhance organic reach and improve brand visibility,
- Create original blog articles to improve organic search rankings,
- Implement strategies to increase organic search traffic and strengthen brand authority,
- Improve domain authority through strategic content optimization.
Marketing Operations & Analytics
- Implement segmented email and text marketing strategies for improved engagement, and manage list hygiene,
- Analyze campaign performance and compile reports to measure ROI.
Key Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B and B2C marketing, with a passion for, and proven track record in the cannabis industry,
- Strong background in conversion copywriting with a portfolio of successful campaigns,
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and digital content optimization,
- Expertise in campaign and project management, with a track record of meeting deadlines,
- Advanced knowledge of tools like HubSpot, Figma, Monday.com, WordPress, and other collaboration platforms,
- Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently,
- Agile and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
