Role Description

This is a contract frontend developer role at Spatium Lab, a hybrid position located in Bellevue, WA with the flexibility for some work from home. The Frontend Developer will be responsible for creating and implementing user-friendly web interfaces, utilizing responsive web design principles, and collaborating with the backend development team to ensure seamless software integration.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design skills
  • Experience in Web Development and Software Development
  • Ability to collaborate with backend developers on integrated solutions
  • Proficiency in Back-End Web Development is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

What You’ll Be Working On
  • Enhancing authentication processes (JWT, Middleware)
  • Displaying and filtering data in tables and charts
  • Building advanced calculators with drag-and-drop functionality and complex input/output views
  • Generating reports using markdown fields
  • Developing workflow systems with multi-step forms for approvals and reviews

Specific Skills And Experience For The Role
  • Strong experience with Next.js and React
  • Knowledge of JWT-based authentication and implementing middleware
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and TailwindCSS for component development
  • Deep understanding of state management across client-side and server-side components
  • Experience in Figma to Next.js design translation
  • Comfortable working with dynamic data from APIs and databases
  • Familiarity with Markdown integration in web applications
  • Continuous testing, integration and deployment
