- Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join our team.
JOB SUMMARYThis role requires experience as a system analyst, business systems analyst, or business analyst, and the ability to integrate both roles, focusing on Workday Financials or a generalist role covering both Financials and HCM. The position will be responsible for managing the product backlog, small projects, enhancements, and bug fixes. Key tasks include gathering, documenting, verifying, validating, and refining both new and existing business and technical requirements. The role may also assist with User Acceptance Testing as needed. The position reports to the Application Analysis Manager, with day-to-day direction from a Product Administrator or Project Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
- Possess experience, training, or certifications in Workday, Financials, HCM, Workforce Management, Time and Attendance, Strategic Sourcing, Workday Report Writing, and/or BIRT.
- Capable of managing multiple projects or systems simultaneously.
- Experience in workflow analysis, integrations/APIs, and overall ERP system design.
- Skilled in writing user stories using the 3W format (who, what, why).
- Familiar with Microsoft Azure DevOps (TFS/VSTS) or other lifecycle management tools like JIRA.
- Proficient in gathering, refining, and validating complex business requirements, interdependencies, risks, and issues.

- Experienced in writing user stories/requirements.
- Proficient in data mapping and integration mapping activities.
- Experienced in creating and maintaining flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio and/or Lucidchart.
- Skilled in managing process analysis and improvement activities across multiple teams/departments.
- Experienced in identifying, recommending, and implementing improvements to enterprise-wide systems.
- Strong team collaboration skills, delivering results with peers, customers, and vendors.
- Preferred but not required:
- Experience with Workday configuration, or formal Workday training.
- Completion of Workday Fundamentals, Business Process Fundamentals, and/or Report Writer Workday courses.
- Experience working with Scaled Agile.
- Public sector experience at the municipal or county level.
- Expertise in identifying, recommending, and implementing improvements to enterprise-wide systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write user stories with the 3W (the who, the what, and the why) format as well as document Acceptance Criteria using the Azure DevOps (ADO) tool.
- Partner with multiple agencies to understand known and needed business processes, system requirements, and integration requirements.
- Create and maintain functional process analysis documentation such as data mapping, integration flow mapping, process flows, and technical requirements documents which identifies and recommends resolution of any process, system, and integration-related gaps with the pre-existing templates provided by the project team.
- Perform technical process evaluation and analysis along with recommending fixes.
- Partner with the QA team to support user acceptance testing when needed.
- May provide go-live support and immediate post-production support activities as needed.
- Attend and participate in SCRUM ceremonies with the core Workday team or project team (SA, BA, developers, QA analysts, prod support analyst, product portfolio administrator, and/or project manager).
- Follow TS best practices, including documentation, project, and change management processes.
Pay range: $60-70/hr
