Your Role - Come Join Our Team!

In this role you will:

As a Sales & Marketing Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing actionable insights through data analysis and ensuring robust data governance across all data owned by RevOps. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, data governance, and a deep understanding of sales and marketing processes.

This role reports directly to the Director of RevOps and works closely with the entire RevOps team, as well as sales, marketing, and revenue leadership. The analyst will also collaborate frequently with finance and strategy teams.

Typical Functions:

Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Advanced Analytics: Use advanced analytics techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, segmentation) to support sales and marketing strategies.
  • Routine Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide real-time visibility into key performance metrics for stakeholders across the organization and actionable insights
  • Data Collection and Integration: Gather data from various sources, ensuring it is correctly integrated into the central data repository.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze Sales & Marketing data to identify trends and areas for improvement that can help drive revenue growth and operational efficiency. Identify and communicate data stories.
  • Data Visualization: Create clear and insightful data visualizations to communicate complex data in an understandable manner.
  • KPI Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

Data Governance
  • Data Quality Management: Work alongside team members to establish a robust data quality framework, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all data sources. You will be responsible for maintaining these standards through regular audits and data quality checks.
  • Data Policies and Procedures: Collaborate with team members to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures. You will ensure ongoing compliance with these policies and maintain data integrity and quality in line with industry standards.
  • Data Stewardship and Standards: Partner with team members to define best practices for data collection, storage, and maintenance across all systems and platforms. Your role will be to uphold these standards and ensure adherence across teams.
  • Data Security: Support and enforce data security protocols to protect sensitive information, prevent data breaches, and align with company-wide security policies.
  • Data Improvements: Take ownership of initiatives to refine data management practices and enhance the data governance framework, ensuring continuous improvement over time.

Collaboration and Support
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing and other departments to understand their data needs and deliver insights that drive decision-making.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and support to team members on data governance policies and best practices and the proper use of analytical tools and data resources.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues and ensure the seamless functioning of data tools and systems.
  • Documentation: Establish and maintain data standards, definitions, and documentation for all data owned by RevOps.
  • Liaison: Act as a liaison between RevOps and other departments to ensure alignment on data governance and analytics initiatives.

Requirements

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data governance, preferably in a sales or marketing environment. Experience in SaaS environments is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (such as Excel/Google Sheets) and languages (such as SQL), as well as data visualization tools (such as Tableau or Sisense). Strong understanding of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Capacity to collaborate with RevOps team members and navigate basic needs in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).

  • Project Management: Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Work Environment:

This position will be part of our Denver office. Candidates located outside of the Denver Metro Area will be reviewed and considered if necessary.

Compensation Package:

Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 depending on experience.
