New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is seeking a Maintenance Plumbing Technician for a 8-month contract position with the potential for a contract extension or conversion.

Compensation: $34.50 per hour

Looking for a Facilities Technician that has advance skills with plumbing.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
  • Troubleshoot power, HVAC system and controls, and mechanical systems.
  • Maintain general & preventative maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management.
  • Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed.
  • Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5-7 years experience required
  • Advanced plumbing skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office/smartphone
  • Fluent in English
  • Basic maintenance skills, light plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, ability to operate HVAC controls
  • Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use hand and electrical tools
