We are seeking a Technical Engagement Manager, that combines technical expertise with management skills, to lead cross-functional teams, drive technology implementations, and oversee project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, IT infrastructure, or engineering, along with proven leadership in team management, stakeholder communication, and business strategy execution. This candidate is also expected to do extensive opportunity mining within the account to grow account revenue.
Responsibilities:
1. Technology Leadership & Implementation:
- Oversee the development, deployment, code reviews and maintenance of technology solutions.
- Lead architecture discussions, system designs, and integrations with third-party tools.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend innovations to improve efficiency.
- Ability to understand the existing technical architecture of an existing application.
2. Project & Product Management:
- Plan, execute, and deliver technology projects on time and within budget.
- Work with Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure smooth project execution.
- Define roadmaps, sprint goals, and release cycles for products and IT initiatives.
3. Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, engineers, and analysts.
- Define team goals, allocate tasks, and monitor performance.
- Facilitate training programs and skill development for technical teams.
4. Business & Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Communicate technical challenges, timelines, and risks to non-technical stakeholders.
- Understand the trade-offs between multiple solution approaches and take the right decision.
4. Process Optimization & Automation
- Identify bottlenecks and drive automation strategies to improve workflows.
- In-depth understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and security best practices.
4. Budget & Vendor Management
- Manage technology budgets, procurement, and vendor negotiations.
- Evaluate and onboard new technology partners, SaaS tools, and enterprise solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Engineering degree in Computer Science/Technology, Master of Computer Application or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with Customers and internal stakeholders.
- Proven experience (15+ Years) in a client-facing role, such as consulting, account management, or sales.
- Good understanding of programming.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/ Azure/ Google Cloud).
- Prior experience in Salesforce, ERP, E-commerce, or SaaS platforms.
- Experience in leading digital transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with AI, Machine Learning, or Data Analytics.
- Familiarity with databases, APIs, and enterprise software integration.
- Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and IT infrastructure management.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of driving business growth.
Salesforce-Specific Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform (Sales, Service, Experience Cloud or Commerce Cloud - B2B), including integration via custom APIs. Highly Preferred.
- Ability to oversee customizations (Flows, Apex, Lightning Web Components) within best-practice governance and data management frameworks. Required.
- Experience with release lifecycles, DevOps pipelines, and security protocols specific to Salesforce. Required.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align Salesforce solutions with evolving business and technical needs. Required.
