Product Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Product Manager with 8 to 10 years of experience in the Healthcare and Insurance industries. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in leading complex product development initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring that products meet both technical and regulatory standards. This role will involve defining strategic product roadmaps, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving product vision from inception to launch.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Product Vision: Define, articulate, and drive the long-term vision for products in the healthcare and insurance space. Align product strategies with organizational goals and market needs, and manage the product portfolio to meet business priorities.
Cross-functional Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, business, compliance, etc.) throughout the product lifecycle. Facilitate collaboration and ensure alignment with product goals and timelines.
Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to market launch, and ensure smooth execution of product plans. Prioritize product features based on business value, market impact, and technical feasibility.
Regulatory & Compliance Expertise: Ensure that products comply with all relevant regulations in healthcare (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) and insurance (e.g., ACA, CMS). Lead efforts to incorporate compliance requirements into product designs and work with legal and compliance teams.
Advanced Data Analytics & Market Insights: Utilize advanced data analytics to assess product performance and market trends. Conduct deep market research and user feedback analysis to refine product features and drive enhancements.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including senior leadership, customers, and external partners. Gather and prioritize customer feedback to inform product decisions and ensure product-market fit.
Go-to-Market Leadership: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in collaboration with marketing, sales, and customer support teams. Monitor the success of product launches and ensure strong customer adoption.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and incorporate emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor products into the product roadmap. Foster a culture of innovation within the product team.
Risk Management & Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address product risks and challenges, ensuring that the product remains on track and aligned with business goals. Develop mitigation strategies for any identified obstacles.
Mentorship & Team Development: Mentor and guide junior product managers and cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, high performance, and continuous learning.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in the healthcare and insurance industries.
- Proven success in managing complex, large-scale product development initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare technologies (EHR, telemedicine, patient data systems) and insurance systems (claims processing, underwriting, policy management).
- Strong experience in navigating industry-specific regulations and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH, ACA).
Technical Expertise:
- Strong technical background with an ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and product management software.
- Experience with cloud technologies, data platforms, and scalable architectures.
- Analytical & Data-Driven:
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making, prioritize features, and measure product success.
- Experience with A/B testing, product performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
