Job Description:

Description: The Team The Payroll Manager will primarily be responsible for the daily management of the U.S. payroll programs and administration, ensuring that all processes are executed appropriately and in a timely manner. The incumbent will oversee and manage operations necessary to ensure domestic payroll data integrity and operational efficiency of Payroll programs. The incumbent will also be responsible for reviewing, updating and implementing the appropriate payroll policies and procedures and ensuring that all such police comply with company policies and with local, state and federal regulations. The Payroll Manager s ability to analyze and understand the needs of Payroll and Human Resources ( HR ) and then propose processes to meet those needs is critical. The Payroll Manager will serve as a liaison between third party vendors and the Finance and Human Resources departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee biweekly U.S. payroll with minimal errors and maximum efficiencies
  • Oversee and ensure smooth quarter- and year-end payroll process
  • Manage annual W-2 production
  • Identify and solve day-to-day problems, setting up earnings and deduction codes with proper taxation
  • Maintain data integrity of payroll applications (ADP Vantage, Fusion/ADP Data Bridge, ADP Portal) on a daily basis
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of payroll data by conducting reconciliations and detailed audits to ensure accurate processing
  • Ensure timely maintenance of payroll records
  • Research and propose system enhancements and payroll process improvements
  • Assist with entry of payroll transactions (e.g. timesheets, vacation requests, direct deposits, tax changes) into the payroll system.as necessary
  • Assist with preparing data to enable Vialto, our external tax partner, to prepare tax returns for US expatriates globally
  • Develop and maintain application-related process documentation
  • Manage or assist with special projects, e.g. system enhancements, PE projects and payroll upgrades
  • Review and recommend changes to payroll processes and reports; assist with implementing changes
  • Work with service providers to ensure federal, state and local taxes are filed, reported and appropriately funded
  • Work cross-functionally with business partners regional HR, Benefits, Compensation, Accounting, and Internal Audit
  • Oversee and manager the US Payroll Team. Define and communicate annual goals, perform formal and informal performance reviews, and ensure changes and updates are communicated in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Education; 4 Year/ bachelor s degree
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in automated payroll processing
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
  • Familiarity with ADP suite (Vantage, ADP Reporting and Data Bridge) or similar systems
  • Experience in multi-state payroll processing and reporting
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
