Job Description:


We are seeking a Quality Specialist to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and delivering software that meets both functional and non-functional requirements. You will define manual test cases, execute both manual and automated test suites, and contribute to the overall testing strategy. This is an individual contributor role within a collaborative and fast-paced team environment.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Contribute to test planning and build test cases for sprint stories based on acceptance criteria.

  • Participate in test case reviews and incorporate necessary updates.

  • Create and manage test data to support test case execution.

  • Execute test cases, including both manual and automated tests, and document test results.

  • Report issues and defects with clear and relevant background information for review.

  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce, analyze, and document defects.

  • Utilize testing tools and follow established processes to complete testing tasks.

  • Trace tests to requirements for the assigned scope.



Must Have:



  • Experience testing in a Windows environment.

  • Hands-on experience with Horizon QTest.

  • Experience in account management (adding/removing user accounts and controlling privileges).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Creativity and ingenuity in testing approaches.

  • Logical approach to troubleshooting and defect resolution.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for precision.

  • Tenacity and patience in identifying and resolving issues.
