Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Project Manager to track daily project costs, subcontractor performance, and material procurement.
  • Assist in the development and execution of project budgets, including buy-outs, pay applications, and cost reporting.
  • Prepare detailed scopes of work for contracts, change orders, and new project tasks.
  • Monitor construction progress to ensure it aligns with project scope and budgetary constraints.
  • Coordinate with municipalities to obtain inspection approvals and compliance with local regulations.
  • Process submittals, schedules, quantity takeoffs, and change orders to keep projects moving efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Construction Management or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively coordinate with teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Energetic and dedicated individual who takes ownership and pride in their work.
  • Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and project scheduling software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Understanding of construction documents, contracts, and change order management.
