  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Title:Automotive Porter

Location:Berman Subaru of Chicago

Schedule: Part Time, hours below

Pay:$16.20/HR

Monday-Friday between6:00AM-6:00PM and Saturdays:7:00AM-4:00PM

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, offering assistance with locating vehicles or directing them to the appropriate department
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of vehicles on the lot, including washing and vacuuming dealership and customer vehicles
  • Safely provide vehicle pickup and delivery for customers
  • Assist with the organization and management of vehicle inventory, including tracking vehicle locations and updating inventory systems as needed
  • Perform regular checks of vehicle keys and ensure they are stored securely and accounted for at all times
  • Routine maintenance tasks to upkeep the appearance and functionality of the dealership building and grounds
  • Maintain cleanliness of entrances, and common areas, by sweepingand trash removal
  • Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (3year min)
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling as needed
  • Punctuality and reliability in attendance
  • Dependable work ethic with a commitment to completing tasks thoroughly and efficiently
  • Familiarity with basic building maintenance tasks such as lightbulb changes
  • Willingness to learn and perform routine maintenance duties as assigned
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and prioritize tasks effectively
