Location: Dallas, TX

Shifts Available

  • Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range:
    • Min: $38.15/hr
    • Mid: $49.72/hr (7+ years of experience)
    • Max: $61.29/hr (18+ years of experience)
  • Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

Role Overview

Join our Level IV NICU team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), where you will be a key leader in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting the unit's operations. This role offers supervisory responsibilities, direct patient care as needed, and the opportunity to drive improvements in team performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient admission and discharge processes to ensure smooth and efficient care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure superior patient outcomes and care coordination.
  • Coach, train, and provide feedback to NICU staff to maintain and elevate the quality of care.
  • Oversee staffing and scheduling to meet patient care and unit needs.
  • Ensure proper inventory management and efficient equipment utilization.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience as a Level IV NICU Charge Nurse.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • MSN preferred.

Licensure/Certifications

  • RN license in Texas or compact license.
  • BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.

Additional Information

  • Unit Details:
    • 108-bed Level IV NICU.
    • Approximately 200 team members.
  • Interview Process:
    • Initial prescreen with recruiter.
    • Interviews with Nurse Managers, peer groups, and department leadership.
    • Local candidates: In-person interviews.
    • Out-of-area candidates: WebEx interviews.
    • Final hiring decision made by Nurse Managers.
