We serve nearly 600 girls (K-12) annually, providing holistic, research-based programming that builds confidence, resilience, and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities

As Director of Programs, you will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of Girls Inc. programming, ensuring high-quality experiences that empower girls to succeed. You’ll also play a key role in building community partnerships, managing program staff, and driving strategic growth.

  • Develop and oversee the program strategy to align with the needs of girls and the organization’s mission.
  • Lead a team of Program Managers and staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality program delivery.
  • To expand program impact, build and nurture community partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and local organizations.
  • Establish and manage a data-driven approach to program evaluation, ensuring measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
  • Support the CEO in driving operational effectiveness and securing funding by ensuring programs align with grant commitments.
  • Represent Girls Inc. at community events and advocate for policies and initiatives that benefit girls.
Qualifications:
  • Passion for empowering girls and a deep understanding of youth development best practices.
  • Proven leadership experience in program management, nonprofit operations, or a related field with experience in human resources management.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with experience working with schools, community partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage data and outcomes, with a track record of using insights to drive program improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, nonprofit management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Must have own transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a level 2 background check.
