  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.

We are looking to hire a candidate with the skill sets mentioned and experience for one of our client Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW), This is a Onsite role in Philadelphia, PA.

*W2 only, NO C2C.


Position Summary:
Candidate responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using the Microsoft .NET Framework, with a primary focus on building and managing operations, Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient delivery of software solutions.
Minimum Skills and Experience:

  • 7 to 9 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting multiple mission-critical web and Windows applications using application/data security best practices. Proficiency in the following programming languages/technologies is a must:
    • ASP.NET (4.6+) with MVC and/or Razor Pages, C#, and Python programming.
    • VB.Net and MSMQ.
    • HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, Bootstrap, AngularJS/6+.
    • .NET Core 3+ and .NET 6.
    • Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming, including batch processing.
    • RESTful APIs and SOAP Services.
  • Experience interfacing with enterprise application systems such as Oracle C2M and Oracle Financial is a plus, as well as upgrading applications to .NET 6 and above.
  • Strong customer focus, creative problem-solving skills, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Experience working with custom software solutions and customer programs in the utilities industry is a plus.
    Other job specifications:
  • Employment Type: Contract to Hire (CTH), W2 only. NO C2C.
  • Contracting Period: 6- 12 month contracting opportunity with the highly potential for extension.
  • Job Location: Philadelphia, PA.
  • Contract Rate/Salary: $55 on W2
