Job Description:

  • We have an urgent need for two Senior Data Engineers to join our team for HR/Finance projects. This role is essential for ensuring the timely ingestion and transformation of complex data, providing crucial business insights, and supporting our data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Ingestion: Ingest data from various sources into Snowflake.
  • UDM Creation: Develop User-Defined Measures (UDMs) to support Snowflake.
  • Reporting Solutions: Create and maintain reporting views to support various reporting solutions.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work with limited direction, collaborating with other departments to understand business requirements and address complex financial and HR data problems.
  • Optimization: Write efficient and, at times, complex SQL queries to optimize data processing and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Expert-level experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • SQL Proficiency: Proficient in writing efficient and complex SQL queries.
  • Snowflake: Experience with Snowflake is highly desirable.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business problems related to HR and Finance data.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with limited information and direction.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior data engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Prior experience in handling complex financial and HR data.
  • Certification: Relevant certifications in data engineering and cloud platforms.
