About the Role
The Events & Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in the execution of home games and in the daily functioning of the Storm office. The ideal candidate will be a proactive doer and problem solver with exceptional organizational and communication skills and meticulous attention to details. This individual should have experience executing complex events and be comfortable in an office environment performing administrative duties to ensure smooth operations across a company.
Event Coordination
Related Experience:
2+ years in a professional office environment, with preference for experience in an administrative role. Experience with complex, high-stakes event execution, preferably in a sports environment.

Additional Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and be technologically fluent across many platforms and operating systems.

This individual should have experience executing complex events and be comfortable in an office environment performing administrative duties to ensure smooth operations across a company.
Event Coordination
- Assist with coordination of cross-functional teams as well as internal/external partners to compile and execute game day run of show. Ensure that all relevant partners are aligned on all pertinent game day information.
- Coordinate game day requests and expectations with key internal/external partners including Climate Pledge Arena. Assist in set-up and tear down for events.
- Flexibility and adaptability are essential to success in this role. Work collaboratively with Director of Business Operations to ensure smooth game day operations.
- Work in collaboration with various stakeholders to execute functions such as staff Huddles, lunches, happy hours, team practice player access, Junior Storm/Storm Academy administration. Responsibilities will include coordinating catering, supporting building tech functionality, monitoring front desk, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and functional workspace. Manage the reception area to ensure a tidy, organized, welcoming and safe environment. Manage visitor logs, assist with guest registration, approvals, and access, intercom system, and deliveries. Oversee receipt and internal distribution of deliveries and mail.
- Manage maintenance, supplies, and vendor communication for office hardware such as printer, coffee machines, mail meter, and shredder. Maintain inventory and order office supplies and event supplies. Order and stock kitchen snacks, beverages and supplies. Assist with upkeep as needed of common areas such as kitchen and terrace.
- Regular weekend and evening work will be required, as this position will require the Events and Operations Coordinator to be involved in WNBA game execution and other Storm special events.
- Assist with special events and party planning as needed. Manage all staff calendar. Manage corporate holiday and VIP gifting.
- Support operations department teammates as needed. Potential areas include facility operations, ticket operations, broadcast operations, special event management, office administration, and IT.
