The Territory Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing the Boochcraft brand within their assigned territory. This field-based role is responsible for expanding distribution, optimizing product assortment, ensuring pricing accuracy, executing on-premise initiatives, and educating stakeholders about the brand. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking and field execution.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the primary ambassador for Boochcraft, driving sales and fostering brand loyalty within assigned accounts and territory.
  • Devote a minimum of 4.5 days weekly to field activities, including direct selling, engaging with wholesaler representatives, conducting retail demos, and participating in marketing events.
  • Maintain regular and transparent communication with distributor representatives, sharing weekly market insights and achievements to ensure alignment and support.
  • Strategically expand the account base, increasing points of distribution, and elevating brand visibility through consistent account visits, promotions, and relationship-building efforts.
  • Implement chain mandates, uphold merchandising standards, and pitch promotional programs to drive product visibility and sales.
  • Ability to sell distribution and programming in the on-premise and off-premise channels.
  • Ensure proper product handling and storage conditions to maintain product quality and integrity.
  • Utilize sales data to identify account gaps and growth opportunities, develop geographically efficient weekly plans, and track performance against sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with distributor partners to activate accounts, educate buyers and consumers about Boochcraft's unique value proposition, and conduct tastings and events to drive brand awareness.
  • Address account and distributor concerns promptly and professionally while meticulously logging all activities and interactions in the CRM system.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintain vehicle and sales supplies, manage expenses within budgetary limits, and assist with quality control issues as needed.
  • Participate in distributor meetings, support promotional events, and identify local marketing opportunities to enhance brand presence.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, while nurturing positive relationships with industry peers.
  • Remain proactive in enhancing selling skills, product knowledge, while providing valuable feedback to support brewery initiatives.

Requirements

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Minimum two years of experience in the CPG or food/beverage industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, organization, persistence, resilience, and adaptability.
  • Passionate about sustainability.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. safely.

Additional Details

Location: Field-based with remote work on administrative days. 4.5 days in the field.

Travel: Regular travel within the territory with occasional overnight stays.

Schedule: Typically, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for evening and weekend work as required.

Pay Range: This position has a base salary of $50,000 with opportunity for monthly and quarterly bonus with uncapped earnings.
