We are seeking a new member to add to our Warehouse Office Support team. Are you ready to be a part of something amazing?
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in our office building within a warehouse environment. This position requires attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently to ensure a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for employees and visitors.
- Clean, dust, vacuum, and sanitize offices, conference rooms, lobbies, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, and other common areas.
- Ensure restrooms are cleaned, stocked with necessary supplies, and in good working order. Sanitize toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors regularly.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all office and warehouse office spaces. Ensure all floors are clean and presentable.
- Empty wastebaskets, replace liners, and dispose of trash in a safe and sanitary manner. Manage recycling and other waste programs.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the Facilities Manager when stock is low. Ensure supplies are stored safely and properly.
- Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors to ensure a streak-free finish and maintain cleanliness.
- Follow all safety protocols for cleaning materials, equipment, and waste disposal. Ensure all areas are free of hazards.
- Regularly check and maintain cleaning equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist with deep cleaning or special projects, as needed, including carpet cleaning, power washing, and other one-time tasks.
- Occasionally assist in warehouse office areas with additional cleaning or organizing as requested.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in office or commercial cleaning is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good physical stamina, capable of standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment, understanding the need for safety precautions around machinery and warehouse activities.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and reach above head.
