Lonestar Electric Supply and its subsidiaries are looking for a Marketing Assistant who will work to support the Marketing Director on all marketing and promotional efforts within the organization. They will learn and research electrical supply distribution, relevant partners, and common marketing practices within the industry. The ideal candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic with a strong desire to learn, grow and provide superior strategy and support.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director to develop branding messages, to include social media and blog posts.
  • Suggest website enhancements and provide support and testing as needed.
  • Identify target customers and markets as well as ways to utilize the tools we have to reach a wider audience.
  • Produce and review reporting to recommend enhancements and provide strategy.
  • Shadow associates throughout the organization to learn how we interact with customers and partners as needed.
  • Design collateral and provide feedback on effective distribution efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and business technology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required infrequently.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
