Position: Assistant-Network III

Location: Folsom, CA or Walnut Creek, CA

30 Month Contract

• Targeted Years of Experience: 5-7 years

Responsibilities:

• Manage Transport inventory database data fill.
• Collaborate with Sub-Market Transport Engineers to ensure equipment, paths, segments, and work orders are created in the CND database to document Transport design and initiate work.
• Ensure FUZE data fill is updated to reflect Transport status, progression, and design.
• Maintain strong software skills and computer proficiency.
• Ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
• Assist Sub-Market Transport Engineers with updating and tracking Transport initiatives.
• Interface with departments including Operations and Project Management teams.
• Work with a cross-functional group of engineers, analysts, and support staff.

Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:

• Knowledge of transport backhaul networks.
• Experience with network backhaul facility layout, including equipment layout.
• Knowledge of Carrier Network equipment.
• 1-3 years of experience in Telecommunications.
• 1-3 years of experience in Transport circuit design.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working on large-scale projects.

Location:

• Folsom, CA or Walnut Creek, CA
• Hybrid (3 days in the office weekly, Tuesday-Thursday)
