About the Role:
Symmetry Software, part of Gusto, is looking for an experienced product manager to own the strategy and execution for new tax products to expand our client base and grow revenue. This 0 to 1 focused role will have broad autonomy to lead discovery, strategy, and execution for new products in payroll tax. As the third member of the Symmetry Product organization, you'll have a unique opportunity to improve the product development process within a small, fast paced team. This is a builder role and is empowered by Symmetry Software's Head of Product.
If you are an experienced builder of 0 to 1 payroll products who thrives on making a major business impact at a high-growth company, we would love to hear from you!
About the Team:
At Gusto, the Symmetry team is on a mission to empower the world's employees by ensuring they get the right taxes the first time. Operating like a "mini startup" within the company, Symmetry is a team driven by deep customer empathy, domain expertise, and a relentless desire to innovate. Our goal is to expand the value we create for the payroll service provider industry by solving more problems that impact over 64 million paychecks in the US each year. If you're passionate about solving big problems, driving lean experimentation, building 0-to-1 product experiences, and making a tangible impact on the lives of millions, we'd love to have you on our team.
Here's what you'll do day-to-day:
Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.
Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.
When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required.
Our customers come from all walks of life and so do we. We hire great people from a wide variety of backgrounds, not just because it's the right thing to do, but because it makes our company stronger. If you share our values and our enthusiasm for small businesses, you will find a home at Gusto.
