Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial reconciliation and close processes with precision and expertise
- Spearhead the transition to a new finance and accounting software, ensuring a smooth and efficient implementation
- Develop and improve financial processes to drive efficiency and accuracy
- Manage a team of 5+ finance and accounting professionals, including a mix of exempt and non-exempt team members
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing environment that includes the training and development of the finance and accounting team
- Provide strategic financial insights and support to executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards
- A certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and financial management, with at least $10M in revenue
- Proven expertise in reconciliation and financial close processes
- Excellent people management skills, with experience overseeing 5+ direct reports
- Exceptional process development and improvement skills
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience leading the implementation of new finance software is preferred but not required
- Aviation industry experience is preferred but not required

- Well-organized, able to multi-task, prioritize, and finish tasks and projects on schedule while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), bookkeeping principles, methods, and procedures, with strong analytical skills to investigate and resolve issues

- $110,000+ base salary annually, depending on experience
