Job Title: Manager - IT Network Infrastructure

Job Summary: The Manager - IT Network Infrastructure leads and directs teams responsible for the enterprise network. This role includes providing necessary support, project oversight, and production activities, while collaborating across various business and technology groups. Responsibilities also encompass developing and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans, forecasting infrastructure resources, monitoring methodologies, and managing active/active datacenter configurations and budgeting. The Manager is the subject matter expert for networking infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage, develop, motivate, counsel, train, and evaluate staff across four specialties, ensuring accurate work performance, error analysis, and problem resolution.
  2. Prioritize, assign, and direct work assignments to support daily operations and future implementation objectives.
  3. Foster a positive work environment by promoting skill development, coaching for improvement, and inspiring team members.
  4. Provide leadership and technical expertise for software and hardware integration.
  5. Plan for future use of systems hardware, software, services, technologies, and applications, coordinating purchases, installations, and implementations.
  6. Develop network architecture, design, and review system configurations in collaboration with team members.
  7. Develop, document, and implement operating procedures and systems documentation, including best practices and disaster recovery plans.
  8. Direct project management for large computing projects across multiple technologies and platforms.
  9. Ensure networking software and hardware are up-to-date with appropriate security and patch levels.
  10. Act as a liaison between department managers and supervisors for coordinating support activities and project tasks.
  11. Ensure adherence to system and security standards, reviewing periodically with the Chief Security Administrator and other IT Managers.
  12. Maintain understanding of state and federal laws related to compliance, including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws.
  13. Participate in the "Management On-Call" rotation.
  14. Understand regulatory requirements and risks, establish control activities to mitigate risks, and ensure operational integrity and compliance.
  15. Perform other job-related duties as necessary.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Effective oral and written communication skills for interpreting, resolving, and documenting networking problems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to articulate system methodologies and concepts.
  • Manual dexterity to operate computer hardware, hand tools, and standard office equipment.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of seven years in Information Technology in a senior administrator role.
    • Minimum of three years in project management and personnel supervision.
    • Expertise in working with business owners for planning enterprise-wide technologies.
    • Experience with Firewalls, Routers, Switches, software-defined networking platforms, cloud networking solutions (Azure, AWS), Akamai DDOS, load balancing, and common networking technologies.
    • Expertise with Data Center equipment, multi-homed connections, redundant network connections, and F5 technologies.

Certifications:
  • Cisco CCNP, CCDP, or CCSP
  • Project Management Professional

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged sitting throughout the workday.
  • Availability for emergency and on-call duty 24/7.
  • Occasional travel.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
  • Manual dexterity to operate computer hardware and office equipment.
  • Additional work hours as needed.
