A well-established company in the insurance sector is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to join its team in Charlotte, NC, Hartford, CT, or Branchville, NJ. This role follows a hybrid work model in one of these above locations. The company is looking for a leader to oversee an application development team with both on-shore and off-shore teams. Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performance development team to deliver key business initiatives
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

- Report on KPIs and program progress to leadership.
- Focus on team leadership, performance management, and coaching, with no hands-on coding.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in leading software development teams or hands-on development.
- Strong background in full-stack development using .NET, C#, Angular, APIs, and SQL.
- Knowledge of modern Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, test-driven development, and test automation.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in coaching and managing teams.
- Track record of successfully delivering complex projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
