Scrum Master and Agile Specialist
The Opportunity:

As a scrum master, you're passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that's modernizing and creating efficiency in critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need a Scrum master like you to create solutions that'll support the advancement of Navy capabilities.

On our team, you'll apply your functional knowledge to coach a development team to focus on sprint goals, ensuring the project is successfully progressed. You'll apply basic scrum principles and concepts to resolve routine problems. Using tools like Jira, Confluence, and GitHub, you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team rapidly deliver quality software solutions.

In this role, you'll directly impact Navy missions by organizing and efficiently providing software services and solutions. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in Scrum software development and technical project management while developing and contributing to a variety of project solutions that will improve Navy systems.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience running Scrum teams
  • Knowledge of Scrum and other Agile frameworks, including their artifacts and techniques
  • Ability to lead and motivate the team while fostering a collaborative environment
  • Ability to adapt to changes and continuously improving team processes
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience managing project timelines
  • Experience supporting DoD software development efforts
  • Knowledge of risk management processes
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts
  • Possession of problem solving skills, identifying issues and finding effective solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering
  • Scrum Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
