Description
Human Resource Assistant Under general supervision, the Human Resources Assistant will support human resources processes by maintaining employee records and information. This position will perform and support all related initiatives to the human resources department. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Support to the entire Human Resources department in various projects.
- Enter employment data into the HRIS system accurately and timely.
- Maintains HR files by filing all documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Alert and follow up with appropriate team members regarding late or missing documents required for data entry.
- Support the tracking of all documents for compliance tracking of current professional licenses, driver’s licenses, auto insurance and all other paperwork.
- Maintain confidentiality of all Human Resource information as appropriate.
- Answer telephone lines promptly and efficiently. Respond to message content appropriately.
- Ensure documents on ExponentHR are accurate and up-to-date.
- Maintain the confidentiality of employee and agency information.
- Report on existing survey’s via survey monkey.
- Assist with coordinating company/department functions.
- Interact with all staff in a positive and motivational fashion supporting the Company’s mission.
- Conduct all business activities in a professional and ethical manner.
- Perform all filing for the Human Resources Department.
- Process Employment Verifications.
- Assist with the functions of the Recruiting Department.
- Perform exit interviews.
- New Hire employee file creation.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and interact with others.
- Must be present during working hours at the office for in person.
- At least 18 years of age.
- 1 year related Human Resources experience.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills are required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel and MS Power Point.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Must be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment in which attention to detail and audit-trail documentation must be maintained in the face of multiple competing demands for your time.
- Developing a positive rapport with clients, vendors, and employees and maintaining business partnerships is critically important.
- Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
- Initiative to take charge of unforeseen situations, solve problems and adjust to schedule changes.
- Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
