TSS is partnering with a boutique HR Consulting firm assisting clients mainly in the Tri-State Area, to recruit an HR Generalist for a permanent, full-time position. This role is remote, but you must live in the Tri-State Area ( New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut) for the rare travel to a client.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The HR Generalist supports the day-to-day HR activities of multiple client accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, including talent acquisition and retention, onboarding, benefits and retirement plan administration, compensation planning, performance management, and compliance audits/reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Client Relations: Provide top-level support to various clients, ensuring rapid response and high-quality interactions.
  • Employee Handbooks & Policy Development: Oversee the creation and updating of employee handbooks for clients. Experience in developing Employee Handbooks is essential.
  • Compliance Reporting, Audits, and Tracking: Coordinate with internal and external audit teams to conduct comprehensive reviews and implement improvements based on findings.
  • Employee Benefits & 401(k) Oversight: Collaborate with premier benefits providers and retirement plan administrators to ensure optimal service delivery and compliance.
  • Performance Management: Provide guidance in performance management, career pathing, and addressing workplace behavioral issues for client organizations.
  • HRIS & ATS Experience: Work with multiple HRIS and ATS platforms to support clients in managing their HR functions effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of HR Generalist experience.
  • Consulting or Own Consulting firm experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition, employee benefits, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in multiple HRIS and ATS platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively.
  • SHRM-CP and/or PHR certification preferred.
  • Experience working in a remote environment.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$90,000 DOE. Benefits offered: Health Benefits, PTO, holiday pay, sick pay, 401k, profit sharing, and more!
