Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Entry-Level International Logistics Coordinator to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating the movement of goods across international borders, ensuring that shipments are handled efficiently and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Problem Resolution: Address any shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies, working to find solutions and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Data Entry: Maintain records of shipments, customs documentation, and other logistics-related information using internal software systems.
  • Customer Service: Provide timely updates to internal teams or customers regarding shipment statuses and assist with any logistics-related inquiries.
  • Cost Control: Assist with budgeting and cost tracking related to shipping, ensuring the most cost-effective transportation solutions are chosen.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of international shipping practices and documentation is a plus but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and an eagerness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or internship in logistics, supply chain, or international trade.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and international shipping processes.
  • Familiarity with logistics software and tools (e.g., Cargowise, SAP, or other TMS).
