General Purpose
FMC GlobalSat is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as a Director of Marketing & Branding. This key leadership role is responsible for Branding, Product and Services customer journey experience and enhancing brand visibility through strategic promotion and advertising efforts. The Director of Marketing & Branding will manage a multi-million annual budget across multi market segment, develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans, build and lead a marketing department, oversee campaign approvals, and measure the effectiveness and ROI of various advertising strategies.
Must Have:
Proven experience as a Director of Marketing & Branding or in a similar leadership role.
Proven experience as a Marketing Director or similar role.
To perform the job successfully you should demonstrate the following competencies:
· Collaborate with business team to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies for existing and new products
· Oversee and grow the marketing department by identifying revenue opportunities among established clients and by securing new accounts
· Identify short- and long-term scheduling and resource needs, including development and management of annual marketing budget, profit-and-loss projections, and expenditures
· Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for marketing team
Responsibilities:
· Oversee and lead the marketing team on 3 different continents
· Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies
· Analyze sales numbers in comparison to the marketing budget to find the profit margin and which campaigns were most effective
· Research competitors to stay current with similar products or services on the market
· Work with both the sales and marketing departments to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and keep current clients
· Collaborate with other executives to make high-level decisions regarding the budget and the direction of the company
· Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the product or service
· Develop marketing strategies for new products or services that comply with current company standards
Qualification Requirements:
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications
· Proficiency with HTML, content management systems, and design software
· Established roster of media and PR contacts
· Desire to grow professionally through ongoing education
Skills:
· Successful track record in senior marketing role and campaign creation
· Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
· Experience in digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
· Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
· Experience running a marketing team
· Attention to detail
· Robust copywriting skills
· Ability to multitask and possess practical time management skills
· Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
