Requirements:

The Employee Experience Manager at Powder Mountain is responsible for fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture by overseeing employee experience, internal communications, and workplace management. This role designs and implements programs that enhance employee satisfaction, drives effective communication across all levels of the organization, and ensures the physical and digital work environments support productivity and collaboration. Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, the Employee Experience Manager plays a key role in shaping the employee journey, strengthening company culture, and improving operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports company operations by creating and maintaining workspace systems that are efficient.
  • Internal pulse surveys and interviews to establish workplace SOP’s, measuring results against standards, identifying trends, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Design and implement workplace maps and plans, moves, adds, and changes to enhance the employee experience
  • Develop and prepare annual budget for the workplace and employee experience, analyze variances, and implement corrective measures to meet our financial goals
  • Manages the workplace emergency plan for on and off mountain
  • Support and execute company recognition program and events
  • Lead employee change and communications initiatives
  • Assist with employee events including onboarding, end of season party, and employee appreciation events
  • Work with our Health and Safety Manager to ensure and implement workplace safety standards
  • Lead employee engagement and well-being initiatives to support a healthy work-life balance
  • Vendor management
  • Collaborate with IT on tech solutions that enhance the employee experience to facilitate communication across the mountain

Education, Experience, And Licensing Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • At least 4+ years experience in a Workplace Manager, Office Manager, Employee Experience Manager or Hospitality Management role
  • Proficient with Google software
  • Technical proficiency with multiple software platforms that improve office space utilization
  • Strong time-management and people skills, high degree of flexibility, and excellent multitasking ability
  • Nutrition amenity sourcing & Office Supply management
  • Event planning experience for employees
  • Data analysis to inform decisions on employee initiatives
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
