  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

ASSYST is seeking an experienced Informatica Tools Suite System Analyst to support our client in Austin, Texas.
The ideal candidate will manage enterprise data analytics, integration, and governance platforms, ensuring optimal system performance, security, and scalability. This role requires expertise in Informatica on-premises or hybrid administration, scripting for automation, and data warehouse technologies.
Please Note: Position will be 4 days remote with 1 day (Wednesdays) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only accept local candidates for this position.
Job Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid. All Wednesdays Onsite)
Job Type: Contract (C2C/Corp to Corp or 1099)
Responsibilities:

  • Understand business objectives and problems, identifying alternative solutions through studies and cost/benefit analysis.
  • Analyze user requirements, operational procedures, and issues to automate processes or improve existing systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine input/output requirements and system functionalities.
  • Provide administration, installation, configuration, upgrades, patches, and problem resolution for Informatica tools, including:
  1. Axon Data Governance,
  2. Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC),
  3. PowerCenter,
  4. Data Quality
  • Manage Linux servers and scripting automation (Java, Python, Perl, PowerShell, Bash, SQL) for system tasks, schedules, and deployments.
  • Ensure system integrity through security vulnerability management and patching.
  • Configure and maintain EDC and Axon, including glossaries, dashboards, data discovery, and advanced scanners.
  • Implement data integration best practices, source-to-target data lineage mapping, and automated harvesting.
  • Optimize data-intensive system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Configure SSO technologies and ensure IT data security compliance.
  • Support cloud infrastructure solutions (Azure, AWS, OCI) and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
  • Work within Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for SDLC processes and collaborate using Jira and GitHub.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise data analytics, integration, and management, focusing on data warehouses and governance.
  • 8+ years of strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • 5+ years of experience with Informatica administration (on-premises or hybrid) across Axon, EDC, PowerCenter, and Data Quality.
  • 5+ years of expertise in SQL (DML & DDL) for Oracle, SQL Server, and Snowflake.
  • 5+ years of experience in performance tuning for data-intensive systems.
  • 4+ years of scripting knowledge (Java, Python, Perl, PowerShell, Bash, SQL) for automation.
  • 4+ years of security vulnerability management and related patching experience.
  • 4+ years of configuring EDC, Axon, and data quality/discovery features.
  • 4+ years of expertise in data lineage mapping and automated harvest methods.
  • 3+ years of configuring SSO technologies for Informatica.
  • 3+ years of experience in handling JSON and XML data payloads.
  • 3+ years of knowledge in IT security, including certificates and ciphers.
  • 2+ years of experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).

Preferred Skills:

  • 2+ years of Azure and Windows administration.
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure solutions (Azure, AWS, OCI).
  • 2+ years of experience using Jira for agile development.
  • 1+ years of experience with large-scale Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environments.
  • 1+ years of familiarity with DAMA DMBOK data management framework.
  • 1+ years of experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) SDLC methodologies.
  • 1+ years of experience using the Git version control system and GitHub.
