  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced Java Developer to work for us as our direct, W2 hourly employee on a part time basis for up to 20 hours per week. You will:

  • Develop and maintain applications using Java, Java 8, JavaScript, C, PHP, servlets, JSPs, Apache/Tomcat, jQuery, CSS, SQL, SQL Server, MySQL, and Git.
  • Work with RESTful services, both producing and consuming them.
  • Utilize Jersey framework for building RESTful web services.
  • Collaborate on various projects as assigned by the IT team.
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions on a part-time basis (up to 20 hours per week).
  • Participate in Agile development processes.
  • Use issue tracking systems to report and resolve technical issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in Java, Java 8, JavaScript, PHP, Servlets, and JSP.
  • Experience with Apache/Tomcat, jQuery, and CSS for front-end development.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with SQL Server and MySQL
  • Proficiency with version control systems, specifically Git.
  • Experience working with RESTful services (producing and consuming).
  • Familiarity with the Jersey framework for building RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with issue tracking

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with C programming language is a plus
  • Familiarity with non-profit CRM systems, including:
    • Donor management
    • Fundraising tracking
