Job Summary And Qualifications
The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing financial and operational reporting and analytics within HealthTrust Support Services. This role involves analyzing data to uncover opportunities for improving efficiency, consistency, and standardization across operations.
Collaborating closely with the Support Services teams, the analyst will integrate data from various systems, including the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), to ensure accurate and timely reporting. They will also design dynamic Power BI dashboards and leverage SQL to query and analyze data, delivering actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making and operational improvements.

- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data, supporting reporting and analytics initiatives
- Present key findings and strategic recommendations to HealthTrust and HCA Leadership, driving data-informed decision-making and process improvements.
- Define, track, and analyze performance metrics and KPIs to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Design, automate, and maintain enterprise-wide financial and operational dashboards in Power BI to enhance data accessibility and visualization.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework, including data definitions, quality rules, and lineage, to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to explore opportunities for integrating data with other systems, including Support Services management platforms, to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in data analysis, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement in operations
- Bachelor’s Degree - Required
- Degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field - Required
- 2-3 Year relevant experience - Required
