SALARY: $80K - $100K Base + Commission (OTE $100K - $120K+)

Redeployment has been hired to help a well-established third-party logistics (3PL) provider find an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales growth in their home/known market. This client specializes in freight forwarding, supply chain solutions, and logistics services across domestic and international markets.

We are seeking a hunter, not a farmer—a proven sales professional who knows their logistics market, has an established network, and can close high-value B2B logistics deals. This is a remote role within a region, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while leveraging the company’s national and global logistics network.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in freight forwarding and 3PL logistics contracts.
  • Prospect, cold call, and generate leads to build a strong pipeline of clients.
  • Develop and deliver customized logistics solutions based on client needs.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Work closely with the VP of Sales and the local General Manager to drive regional sales growth.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience: 5+ years in B2B logistics sales (import/export, domestic freight, 3PL, supply chain) with a proven track record of success.
  • Hunter Mentality: You thrive on cold calling, networking, and closing deals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of freight forwarding, logistics, and transportation solutions.
  • Market Expertise: Existing relationships in your home logistics market and ability to develop new business.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), sales analytics, and logistics platforms.

SALARY & COMPENSATION:

  • Salary: $80K - $100K base + commission (OTE $100K - $120K+)
  • Bonus Structure: Negotiable commission on margin earned
